Gonzo Banker
Yes, Virginia, banking can be amusing. Or at least bankers and some of their oddball practices can be. The consultants at CornerStone Advisors publish a weekly newsletter on banking technology, vendors, and bankers that is sometimes scathing, and usually pretty amusing.

Breaking Views
All commentary, all the time. But very smart commentary with a bunch of former journalists from publications like the Financial Times and Euromoney. Fast breaking analysis of financial stories on companies around the world. Reasonable length, very well written.

McKinsey Quarterly
The consulting firm publishes a pretty good newsletter, although some of the best content requires you to pay them, something we would never think of here. The current issue doesn’t have any financial industry stories, but the publication often does. You can sign up and read it as email or get the alert and go to their Web site if you have firewall issues.
