weComm Ready to Roll?

weComm, a Microsoft partner which delivers high quality data to smartphones such as market data from Cantor Fitzgerald, may be ready for a breakout according to the UK news service,
TechMarketView.

Richard Holway said its great advantage is that its technology “...that allows users to develop one application and then deploy it on many devices. It’s weComm’s job – not the developer – to ensure it works on whatever smartphone or MID the end user might use.” It recently signed with Turner Broadcasting to support a platform for NBA broadcasts to mobile phones.

“weComm is not for your ‘teenager in a bedroom’ kind of Apps development. As I said in the introduction, it’s for the deployment of carrier-grade services. Also weComm is a tool provider – it’s not in business to build the Apps itself. However, I’ve seen the development tool in action (if you want to see the demo – Click here) and it really is pretty easy to build a prototype app in a few days. This makes weComm attractive not just to the large enterprise end-user but particularly to SITS partners (agents, resellers, OEMs and SIs). Indeed, weComm are currently in discussion with several of the global leaders.”
